In accordance with a significant initiative run by the Customs and Excise Department, OECL has been given the designation of Authorized Economic Operator-LO.

In order to safeguard and facilitate international trade, the Authorized Economic Operator plan operates within the SAFE set of guidelines developed by the World Customs Organization (WCO).

Making the global supply chain safer and facilitating the movement of legal goods is the objectives of this programme. There are many different international supply chain participants in AEO. A company that complies with Customs' supply chain security requirements and takes advantage of the program's benefits is given AEO status.

At the time of this writing, the Customs and Excise Department has recognized about listed companies with the coveted AEO-LO standard, and OECL considers it an honor  to be one of them.
